Biden unveils COVID-19 winter plan, blunders steal spotlight

President Joe Biden speaks about the COVID-19 variant named omicron during a visit to the National Institutes of Health, Thursday, Dec. 2, 2021, in Bethesda, Md. Biden looked out over an audience of government scientists and framed his latest plan for fighting COVID-19 as an opportunity to at last put an end to divisiveness over the virus, calling the politicization of the issue a “sad, sad commentary.” And then he tacked on a political dig. Some people “on the other team,” he said Thursday, were threatening to hold up government spending and endangering the nation’s credit out of pique over vaccination requirements. “Go figure,” he added. Conservative critics have continued to question who is calling the shots at the White House. While speaking in Maryland on Thursday, Joe Biden made a series of bizarre comments as he announced his five-step winter COVID-19 plan. His remarks came after he met with world class scientists and health bureaucrats behind closed doors.

Biden’s latest COVID-19 plan includes building family vaccination centers, pushing booster shots and apparently lots of phone calls to Americans. After having trouble naming CVS Pharmacy, Biden then falsely claimed rapid COVID-19 home tests weren’t on the market before he took office.

Biden has developed a reputation for rocky press conferences with false statements and abrupt endings, which has prompted conservative critics like Sen. James Risch (R-Idaho) to question who is really calling the shots. Meanwhile, Biden made a joke about Dr. Anthony Fauci being commander-in-chief.

Shortly after this, Rep. Jim Jordan (R-Ohio) pointed out Dr. Fauci does seem to have complete authority over Biden. The Republican lawmaker warned that because not a single American voted to elect Fauci as a leader, for many this is not a joke but a nightmare.

Real America is done with #COVID19.

The only people who don’t understand that are Fauci and Biden.
