Former Trump Political Adviser Steve Bannon’s prison sentence is being delayed. 

It's official: Steve Bannon will remain free while he appeals his conviction on two criminal contempt of Congress charges.

In a court filing Monday, Judge Carl Nichols said Bannon “is not likely to flee or pose a danger to the safety of any other person … Or the community if released.”

Last month, he was sentenced to four months of jail time as well as a $6,500 fine. 

Steve Bannon has notified court of his appeal of his Contempt of Congress conviction. Judge ruled Bannon can remain free from prison til appeal is "resolved"

Bannon is to serve 4-months prison & make 13 monthly payments of $500 to pay a fine. He was indicted a year ago this week
